Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American journalist. She hosts SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She began her career at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since the age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in helping her land her first job as a production assistant for Univision Miami in which she worked with the producers of programs including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her next job was as an Sports Reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Reports on her show covered immigration issues as well as drug trafficking and others on the Texas as well as the Mexico border. Additionally, she worked as a Spanish reporter for the newscast at 5 p.m., an anchor and reporter of the newscast from nine p.m. on English as well as an anchor and reporter for the newscast of 9 p.m. in English, as well Spanish reporter for 10 p.m. Anchor duties for sports or weather were regularly requested. They moved at some point towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November of 1985. Her older sister is also hers. The family in 1992 left Mexico and moved to Miami. They divorced shortly thereafter in 1995. Her mother got married to a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. In the summer of 2006, she spent one week with her sibling at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. Still a senior in high school but having a clear vision of what she wanted to do with her life Antonietta visited her local University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her requirements. The campus was a dream for her. They also offered her the degree she wanted. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the University. Mark Bergmann - her professor - was also the manager at WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his love of journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
